The story is about a secret experiment under a genetic engineering lab. Scientists trying to make their chicken meat juicier and tenderer, accidently create an avian virus that makes chickens into the walking dead. The game presents the story in a humorous and whimsical tone while presenting challenging gameplay. |
Features
360 Degrees Aiming
Since the levels contain both verticality and horizontal areas, the zombie chickens can appear from all directions throughout the whole level. Therefore, the ability to aim and shoot in all directions is extremely important for eliminating enemies and interacting with the environment.

Pick Up, Multiple Weapons, HUD
The game is more engaging for the player because of the multiple weapons and power-ups. The power-ups help to introduce new weapons easily and intuitively. The simple HUD shows all the information the player needs to know during the game, including the objective and player information.

Freely vertical movement – Jetpack
To add verticality to the game, we implemented a Jetpack. This mechanic allows the player to move vertically but is limited by a rechargeable energy source. The limited resource forces players to come up with their own strategy to overcome obstacles with this equipment.

In-Game pause menu
The pause menu changes what is displayed depending on the level, including the number of enemy spawn points left to destroy and hatchlings left to collect. The pause menu also has a message screen that is easily modifiable by designers. The message changes based on the level or by activating specific triggers.
